OBJECTIVE
The List of Hours function is used to generate a list of hours entered by employees.

Generate a List of Hours
- Select a Date Range.
- Select one or more employees from the Employee Range.
- Select one or more projects from the Project Range.
Refer to help (F1) on the Project Selection Tool for additional information.
- Select the other choices based on specific requirements.
Field
Description
Printing Order
Allows you select the order in which transactions are printed.
Project / Date
Displays the hours by project and date.
Date
Displays the hours by date.
Employee / Date
Displays the hours by employee code and date.
Category
Displays hours by Work category.
Date - Bank
Displays banked hours by date.
Employee - Bank
Displays banked hours by employee code.
NOTE: If selected, the Date – Bank and Employee - Bank options void the Hour Type selection. The Hour Type printed will be limited to the Added Banked Hours only.
Data Type
Normal
Displays regular hours (regular, half and double).
Bank (Rate Z)
Displays banked hours (for which the rate type is Z-Bank).
Normal + Bank (Rate Z)
Displays regular hours and banked hours (for which the rate type is Z-Bank).
Desired Value
Salary + Fringe Benefits
Displays the total cost of the employee. This value includes the employee's salary and fringe benefits.
NOTE: The fringe benefits may be estimated or actual:
Estimated if a cost rate is entered in the trade or Work category.
NOTE: In this case, the cost rate is printed on the report (this rate must include an estimate of the fringe benefits).
Estimated, if estimated rates of fringe benefits have been entered in the trade or Work category, and Payroll Reconciliation has not yet been performed.
NOTE: In this case, the hourly rate is increased by the estimated rate of fringe benefits.
Actual if Payroll Reconciliation has been performed.
NOTE: In this case, the hourly rate is increased by the actual rate of fringe benefits.
Salary + Fringe Benefits + W/C - CSST
Displays the total cost of the employee (as described in the previous item) and the calculated W/C CSST amount.
WC/CSST
Displays the calculated W/C CSST amount.
Base Salary
Displays the cost or salary of the employee.
NOTE: If a cost rate is entered in the trade or employment category, this rate is printed. Otherwise, the hourly rate paid to the employee is printed.
Work Category
Filters the report based on an employment category.
Trade Code
Filters the report based on a trade code.
Summary by Account
If checked, displays a summary by general ledger account at the end of the report.
Hour Type
Lets you choose the types of banked hours to be printed.
NOTE: This setting applies only to banked hours managed by posting banked hours. It does not affect type Z hours.
All
Prints all hour types (paid, paid from the bank, added to the bank, subtracted from the bank, unpaid).
Paid Hours
Prints paid hours.
Banked Hours (Added and Subtracted)
Prints banked hours that have been added or subtracted.
Paid banked hours
Prints banked hours that have been paid.
NOTE: When banked hours are paid, the following two hour types are automatically involved:
- Subtracted Banked Hours (usually hours at straight time);
- Paid Banked Hours (regular, overtime and double time).
Company
Lets you choose the company for which hours must be printed.
Company to which the expense is charged
Prints hours by company to which the expense is charged. This company is identified in each transaction.
Company that pays the employee
Prints hours based on company making the payment. This company is identified in Employee Management.
NOTE: Available in multidimensional mode only.
Banked Hour Balance per Employee
Checkbox allowing to display, on the report, the banked hour balance per employee before the start date requested.
Please note that the printing order parameter has to be set to Employee/Date or Employee/Bank the banked hour balance per employee functionality will work.
NOTE: The banked hour balance displayed should correspond to the number of hours appearing in the Total Banked Hours field of the Employee Management option (maestro* ˃ Time Management ˃ Payroll ˃ Employees ˃ Employee Management, under the Payroll Information tab and in the Balances section).
